Updated Road Status (As Per Our Recent Trip)
We recently traveled the Kathmandu–Pokhara–Muktinath route ourselves, and here’s the latest update:
- From Kathmandu to Pokhara: Blacktop road and smooth.
- From Pokhara to Beni: Blacktop road and smooth.
- From Beni to Tatopani: Partially off-road, but manageable by Hiace and EV vans.
- Tatopani to Jomsom: Mostly off-road. Some rocky patches. Three main water crossings exist but are passable in the dry season.
- Jomsom to Muktinath: Rough road with several uphill sections, but our Hiace and EV Van successfully made it with careful driving.
🚧 Rainy Season Warning for Muktianth Hiace Reserve
