Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Tatopani (1190 m)

Wake up early for a scenic drive to Tatopani from Kathmandu which takes about 12 to 13 hours. It is demanding but at the same time exciting to ride on an uneven road admiring the scenery and passing beautiful settlements. Stay overnight in a lodge.


Day 2: Drive from Tatopani to Muktinath (3800 m)

Drive to Muktinath from Tatopani on an off-beat trail which takes about 4 hours. Pass through the settlements of Ghasa and Marpha to reach Muktinath which is the highest-situated holy Buddhist and Hindu temple. Visit the temple at an elevation of 3,800 m which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Buddhists worshipped as Avalokiteshvara deity. In the temple complex, visit the Jwala Mai (perennial burning flame), and if you wish to take a holy bath at 108 water springs. Relish the splendid views of snowy peaks such as Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, etc. Stay overnight in a lodge.


Day 3: Drive from Muktinath to Tatopani (1190 m)

Drive to Tatopani passing the settlements of Marpha and Ghasa which takes about 4 hours. Relish the beautiful scenery and the phenomenal views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, etc. Stay overnight in a lodge.


Day 4: Return to Kathmandu (1400 m)
